Today, Mayhem was enjoying the fireworks again.

Cross the Acre Line and head to Yokohama. I went to Beach Sound in World Porters to check out the Lost clothing that is licensed and produced in Japan. I was disappointed to see that the boards displayed in the window were not Lost. But it was this shop that Mayhem was most interested in. She bought Hello Kitty and other Japanese character goods as souvenirs for her three daughters. I bought everything I could get my hands on. He says that this will make customers happy even if they come from far away. This board from the Lost Boards collection is a 5-fin board shaped by Mayhem before the current quad and other trends. This is the board that Shane Beschen used when he came in second place for two consecutive years at the WCT in Japan. There were small letters and numbers written on the stringer that I couldn't understand, but Mayhem helped me decipher it. In the morning, I was Skype (free PC video calling) with my family in California. I used the PC camera to show my family the inside and outside of the hotel. The beach in Onjuku looks like this, and since it's small, the waves are good for long surfers. Mayhem loves horses and apparently has a horse at home. Mayhem checking out Shida's waves. The waves are about waist high like this. Decided to do some light surfing. Mayhem takes out the rocket. It's a massive 6'4". Apparently they are testing a slightly diamond-shaped tail. Before entering the shaping room, I bought lunch at a convenience store. The slightly overweight Mayhem gulps down a bottle of Healthia tea in one go at a convenience store (before paying...) When I entered the shaping room, the first thing I did was sand the tail of my 6'2" Monk. The rocker has been strengthened to make it move more easily, and the shape has been redesigned to suit the small waves in Japan. I'll laminate it again to prepare for the small waves that are coming up. (Thank you, Ohmi, for laminating it.) This kind of trick is impossible only for a shaper. I forgot to tell you that Share was unable to pick up his board due to a connecting flight. The contest involved borrowing a board from a young surfer named Eric from Florida. This is Eric, 19 years old. It's a shame that Share also lost, following Shane yesterday. So we all went out to do a surf video session and looked for waves, but they were just small. Nishii uses the AUROLA 4.7 MFF fin for his favorite Shark. Shane showed off his best surfing, even in small waves like rockets. It was Shea's first time riding a rocket and he was excited about how great it was in small waves. Eric also wanted one, so the three of them started fighting over it. All three were Nishii-sized 5'5" rockets with insane movements. Takaichi and DAI recorded it on video, so we'll be able to show it to you all in a little while!! Imabuku and Shane are having a meeting. Professional golfer Hideyoshi Tanaka also participated in the session. These are the Tanaka brothers, meeting for the first time. Hmm, do they look similar?
