Nishii's recommended model is the "SCORCHER."
The SCORCHER is a high-performance model with a standard outline, tri-fin and squash tail, but when compared to the F1-STUB model, which looks the same at first glance in photos, it has more buoyancy than the F1-STUB model, and its slightly more buoyant design makes it suitable for those who find the F1-STUB model too thin. The nose and tail are slightly wider and the thickness is distributed throughout the board, allowing for quicker paddling and takeoff than the F1-STUB model.
