I've been riding mostly round-nose fish-style boards lately, so this is my first high-performance point-nose board in a while, and I was a little worried about how well I'd ride it, but it paddles fast, has great maneuverability, is agile, and lets me rip like crazy. It's the perfect high-performance board for an older guy like me! A high-performance board that even people who usually ride buoyant fish boards can ride with ease! For reference, the stockboard Nishii rode this time was 5'10", which is his best size. I've ridden a 6'2" stock size before, but the 5'10" 31.75cl size is more maneuverable and The paddle is fast enough and feels right, making it the perfect match.
