Thanks to everyone's support, ANCHOR Wetsuits is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year.
Today I went to the Cyber Wetsuit Factory, where the ANCHOR Wetsuit is made. The factory seemed busy producing semi-dry life suits, which still hasn't stopped. This is the work area where the fabric is stretched. This is a Cyber brand neck part. It seems that the parts are carefully crafted and hung on hangers from the beginning. This is the process of attaching the glue to the fabric, so we dry the glue with a hair dryer to make it easier to adhere. It is pressed and attached using a special machine. This machine is air-controlled to make the application stronger. This is an iron for making marks. Marking is done on a flat surface like this with an iron. This machine applies waterproof tape to the seams of the lining fabric. It seems that by using a machine, the work can be done more strongly, reliably and quickly than by hand. Thanks to everyone's support, ANCHOR Wetsuits is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year. thank you!! This year's spring line will be released with cool designs that are unique to Anchor, and are one step ahead of the rest, so stay tuned! The final design was completed today, so we plan to officially introduce the final product in early March!
Learn moreFour must-see videos! Here are some recent surf clips of MAYHEM board riders.
Here are four recent surf clips of MAYHEM board riders that we haven't introduced yet. First up, Caleb from Florida, who is 4'4", will he end up looking like Gorkin??? [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/59185492[/vimeo] Next up is Griffin Colapinto from San Clemente. [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/57974222[/vimeo] As he gets bigger, his board size has gone from 4'8" x 16.25" to 5'5" x 17.50", and his lines are getting bigger too. He's a promising super kid from San Clemente who could become just like Kolohe. The third one is Ian Gentail, who I have introduced many times on this blog. He is now 16 years old and has grown quite a lot. [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/59098100[/vimeo] It's amazing how he managed to drop and land this wave. I think this surf clip could be released on DVD. The fourth one is Taj Burrow, who is from his hometown of West Australia where it's summer now. On the first wave, I was surprised when it suddenly came out of the tube. https://vimeo.com/58703982[vimeo]https://vimeo.com/58703982[/vimeo] I was surprised to see that it was edited so that it was impossible to tell where it took off from. The waves are beyond big, they're gigantic!!!

Luvsurf TV:LOST 5'8" "BEACH BUGGY" Koji Nishii Rider: Koji Nishii Board used: LOST 5'8" "BEACH BUGGY" Polyester Carbon Tail Patch FILM: Hayato Masuda EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM This "BEACH BUGGY" model is Andy's favorite Mayhem board, the "WHIPLASH" model, was a classic and was designed for good waves. In 2012, Mayhem and Taj Burrow teamed up to change the design. With added volume, it evolved and perfected into the "WHIPLASH-TB" model, which went on to win two impressive tournaments on the WCT Tour. Later, the design was further revamped into a new version of the board that Taji could ride in rougher waves, resulting in the "BEACH BUGGY" model. Compared to the SUB-DRIVER and SUB-SCORCHER models to which it is often compared, the nose and tail are narrower and have rocker, making it a design that is sharper, lighter, faster, and more maneuverable. The board design of the 5'8" BEACH BUGGY model that Nishii rides is a 5'10" WHIPLASH-TB model with one inch cut off the nose and tail, connecting and adjusting the outline to widen the nose and tail and lower the rocker. The design concept is to allow for speed even in rough waters, and the fact that it performs well in bad waves means that it will likely become a heavy rotation board for Japanese competition users as conditions become more favorable for riding! We have received pre-orders for over 60 cases from surf shops across the country! thank you! Below is the story of FUWAX, please take a look. Fuad Mansur, aka FU, We have been making surf wax since the 1960s. Family-run business in São Paulo, Brazil, with 100% handmade production. Among the founders of the surfing industry who have now become legendary surfers around the world, Over the decades, he has built a trusted name in Brazil called "FU" and is recognized not only in the country but also around the world. Kelly Slater's traction (deck grip) board is not attached, The pure act of earning 10 points with just one maneuver officially spread word of the FUWAX's performance, In recent years, the top 34 surfers have returned home from Brazil with a box of this wax. In the USA and Australia, the initial reaction to FUWAX arriving from Brazil has been overwhelming. Inquiries are flooding in and advance orders are already flooding in (including in Japan). Surf shops want to stock the famous surf wax. However, in order to maintain FU's exclusivity and 100% handmade production, Because mass production is not possible, There are only a few stores in each suburb that offer FUWAX. The best thing about a product like FUWAX is that it spreads word of mouth about itself. Everyone has heard that this wax has amazing adhesive power, but when you actually try it, you can see that it's not as over-hyped as the rumors and has amazing grip. Everyone agrees, and the word spreads. Not only professional surfers but also local surfers are crazy about FU and are raving about it. "FU is a must-have product when doing airs and maneuvers." If you are still using the old wax, we recommend you try the new wax, FU. You can purchase it here!
Learn moreWith "FU WAX", you can free your precious board from the heavy, dirty, bumpy wax that has been applied to its deck!
New generation surfing wax "FU・WAX"! Nishii has been using FU・WAX since December of last year and has been using it for about two months, and he has gradually come to understand a few things, so he would like to share them with you. "FU・WAX" is so effective that you may wonder if it's really okay to apply it in just a thin layer. This photo was taken after Nishii had cleaned his board, applied some new FU Wax to it, and surfed for about two hours in one round. I can confidently say that a base coat is not necessary, especially during the current winter season when you are wearing boots. This is because FU Wax is applied evenly like this, and is different from previous waxes that create bumps to provide grip. Take a good look at this photo too. Recently, we will show you how to apply FU WAX, the formula used by John John, who won the Pipe Championship. The paint is applied in an even spread, rather than creating bumps. In this video of Kelly applying FU Wax, [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/56305485[/vimeo] You can use the application method of "FU・WAX" as a model. Applying it slowly is a thing of the past. Apply "FU・WAX" so that it spreads smoothly. FU・WAX is the new wax that is attracting the most attention in the world and is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. It's super sticky and has incredible grip, revolutionizing the wax industry. After seeing FU Wax, Sexwax founder Freg Herzog, known as Zog, said, "This formulation is an exciting departure from the surf wax we've become accustomed to over the past few decades." "FU Wax" is carefully produced in Brazil and is 100% handmade, and is also known as "3D Wax." Until now, wax has been applied carefully and with great pressure to create many uneven surfaces so that the insect-like pattern is uniform. While originally intended to provide lateral slip prevention, FU is a new surfing wax that provides a 3D grip with added suction power that lifts the surfboard upwards. This high-performance surf wax that everyone wanted, but was only sold in suitcases full of it by WQS and WCT surfers in Brazil, is now available at Love Surf! "FU・WAX" is an extremely rare item that is still only available at Love Surf in Japan! The price of one wax is higher than previous waxes, but since you only need to apply a thin layer, you can easily use it several times (about 5 to 10 times), so you can get an economical, high-performance 3D grip. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/11847/ If you haven't tried it yet, please give this new generation 3D wax a try as soon as possible. Experience the difference and you'll never want to use anything else again! Free your precious board from the heavy, dirty, bumpy wax that's been applied to your deck until now!
Learn moreCongratulations to Chris Ward for his second place finish at the WQS 5-star event, Volcom Pipe Pro!
At the WQS 5-star event Volcom Pipe Pro held at Banzai Pipeline in Hawaii, Chris Ward advanced to the finals and came in second place! The board he was riding in the final was a LOST/MAYHEM 5'9" QUAD fin board that he borrowed from Schoen Beschen. From the quarterfinals, Chris Ward and Kolohe Andino were in the same heat. Masatoshi Ohno from Japan also competed in the same heat and did very well, making it all the way to the quarter finals. The quarter final results were Kolohe in 1st place and Chris in 2nd place, making for a one-two finish. In the semi-final, Kolohe Andino lost a wave to his senior surfer from San Clemente, Chris Ward, who was also in the same heat, on his last ride, and was overtaken by a margin of error on his last ride, but after careful consideration he came in fifth place. The winner was John John Florence. Second place went to Chris Ward. Here is a digest of the final day. http://www.volcompipepro.com/videos/volcom-pipe-pro-2013-day-3-highlights/index.html Congratulations to Chris for winning second place! Repeat customers of "FU WAX" have been buying them one after another, so there are only a few dozen left, so I'm relieved. FU carefully made this 100% handmade item in Brazil. The second delivery of "FU WAX" has been shipped from Brazil! It is sent all the way from Brazil to Japan. Former World Champion Martin Potter, also known as "POZZ," also uses FU WAX. This is a scam! Try out the grip that the wax claims to provide, just like a foot strap. Until now, when using wax, I had to apply it with a lot of force, creating lots of bumps to prevent slipping, but FU and WAX are different substances that absorb water, so apply them thinly several times and when threads start to appear, it's done. A thin layer of FU WAX is enough to be effective. If you apply it flat, you won't waste too much, so you can use it more times. You can use any brand of base wax, but we recommend applying a thinner coat of hardened wax than usual. (FU Wax base coat is not yet available in Japan.) FU・WAX is highly resistant to dissolution in seawater, so it maintains its grip and adhesive power for a longer period of time than ever before. The next generation Brazilian, following Medina, who qualified for the 2013 ASP-WCT at age 17. "Flipe Toledo" also uses it, World Junior Champion The next generation of surfing by sharp natural footer Kaio Iberi also uses FU Wax! We have added more details about "FU WAX", so please take a look at this link. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=16888
