The board Chris rode was Placebo's V3-ROCKET, and the wax he used was of course FU WAX!

I got a call from Chris Ward, who was checking the waves that morning. The waves are good at Northside Pier, so I thought I could head over there right away. So today I'm shooting at San Clemente Pier. The board Chris rode today was the Placebo V3-ROCKET . Of course, we use FU WAX as wax. The onshore winds blew hard with the power of the 2013 Volcom Pipe Pro runner-up. The next morning, he showed off some impressive surfing at the beach break with the new FLEXLITE-TURBO model. Hiroki rode the Placebo Tablet II , Masato is Lost F1-STUB . The riding was recorded on video by Nishii and photographed by photographer Masuda. Masato and Hiroki have been surfing with Ward for the past few days, Taking Ward's turns as a model, his turns are becoming deeper and thicker.

The WARd5 fin setting is awesome as it makes the board fly when you drive it!

It was a day of unstable weather and wind direction, with overcast skies, sunny skies, and heavy rain. Chris Ward joined us again today as he is leaving for Australia tomorrow. I brought the fins I designed. Chris took out the WARd3 and WARd5 fin sets from the car. The RNF-EVOLUTION model is set up with 5 fins. Chucky chose the 5'10" TITAN, and Masato chose the 5'8" BEACH BUGGY. Chris said that the WARd5 fin setting is great because it drives the board and makes it fly! He did the five finger pose. The wind suddenly turned onshore, making for some difficult conditions, but Chucky managed to pull it off. Hiroki, a fan of ROCKET models, can't let go of the latest V3-ROCKET model. Despite the cold wind and water today, the riders worked hard on the photo session.

What board did Ward choose today because he thought it would be good for this wave?

It was raining lightly this morning in Orange County. Chris Ward of LOCAL recommended this place. I went to the beach break to check out the waves and there were some nice waves breaking. I quickly changed clothes and started shooting! Chucky is 5'10" TITAN HIROKI is a 5'7" V3-ROCKET MASATO is a 5'9" BEACH BUGGY Nishii is a 5'8" RNF-EVOLUTION The board Ward chose today seemed like it would be good for this wave. It's a 5'10" TABLET2. Duck diving (dolphin diving) is also easy because there is a grab rail. As you can see, it was done effortlessly. We were able to shoot some powerful overhead waves with occasional barrels. I think you all already know that TABLET2 works well in small waves in Japan. Stay tuned for a spectacular ride where Ward No-Leash proves he's great at barrel riding, air, and even deep waves!

Today we will also be joined by Chris Ward, also known as WARD, who rides two Placebo models!

It was a nice day with no strong winds until the evening. Today I went to LOWERS with a new model of Presebo. Since the Lancer Evolution is a Japan-only model, Nate Illemans, who loves RNF, was also very interested and came over to check it out. CHUCKY liked the TABLET2 and was excited to ride it again today! Shaw showed off his sharp surfing skills by targeting only the set waves with his Lost Driver model. HIROKI seemed to have a good impression of the "TITAN" model during his test ride. Today we will also be joined by Chris Ward, also known as WARd! The board is a Lancer Evolution and the fins are QUAD Ward Five. The wax is, of course, FU WAX! Like everyone else, he no longer uses any other wax. Chucky was also riding the recently completed TAJ model. Next to him is LOST's in-house videographer, Joe Alani. Masato is practicing with the SUB-SCORCHER2 today as well, with the contest in mind. Masato caught the most waves of the day. Chris Ward's TITAN model makes him stand out in the ocean and on the beach. He showed off some amazing power surfing skills. Nishii recorded the riders' riding on video, so please look forward to it being released!

Today's ARNETTE contest venue was packed with people riding LOST surfboards.

At dawn, we headed to New Port Beach. The Luvsurf team will be competing in a contest hosted by ARNETTE. The reason for arriving at the venue early was This is because PRO Masato Yukawa, who is currently staying in California, is trying to get one of the few remaining same-day entry slots. There were already a few people in line, but Chucky was at the front!! It's BEACH BUGGY ! The contest was held on either yesterday or today, when the waves looked good, and there was no entry fee. The rules were that the person who came in first in their heat would receive $50. There are two classes: Under 16 and PRO & AM. Kei decided to advance to the NSSA finals yesterday, and today he participated in this contest and passed the first round in first place. After getting the $50, he canceled the rest and went to the final venue on C-STREET, where he came in third place. Of course, the wax is FU WAX. Found a MAYHEM sticker! He's Placebo. The venue for today's ARNETTE contest was packed with people riding LOST surfboards. Shaw, riding the F1-STUB, won the first round and got $50, but lost the second round and came in fourth. MASATO, riding SUB-SCORCHER2 , looked to be in first place after the first round, but he ended up in a surprising fourth place.

I, FUAD MANSUR, am the only person who can create FU WAX.

FU WAX is the result of years of hard work and research into various combinations and their results. I grew up as a surfer in three Brazilian cities (Rio, Santos, and Guaruja), where surfing was already a part of the lifestyle for many young people. This was in the late '60s and early '70s, and there were also pioneers in the '50s and '40s. We, the Mansurs brothers, Elizas, Wady and Fuad, respected surfers. We had an impact on the surfing industry. We had a surf shop in Rio called MANSURF. It was just our name (MANSURS) spelled with an "F". We sold all surfing accessories. We made board shorts, t-shirts, shirts, leashes, and more. Wax was already an essential surfing commodity, but it was unavailable in Brazil - it had to be imported from the USA or made in someone's kitchen (which caused problems). There were companies in Brazil that started producing wax, but they found it difficult and unprofitable. They all knew that wax was like bread, it took time and effort, and it was difficult to make well. My idea didn't make me any money, but I continued making them for my friends. Wax is an essential part of surfing. Fu is an abbreviation of my name FUAD. I started making wax in my parents' garage. The funny thing is, I'm not a shaper or glasser so no one trusted me. I just kept making it as a job and after a few years, other products were on the market. One day, I was mixing different ingredients in my lab and an opportunity struck. It was almost by accident. I created a mixture unlike anything I had ever made before. It had a super sticky, grippy texture. Super Sticky Wax was born. But I didn't think it was time. The adhesive power was so great that no one needed it yet, but surfing is a sport that is constantly evolving and changing, so I said that one day people would think it was necessary for maneuvers too. Wax, which had previously been ignored by everyone, is starting to gain popularity among young surfers with amazing moves. It was like magic. (Tom Carroll and Martin Potter) It started in Brazil, then WCT pros brought it back, exposing Brazil's secret wax (and word spread), and now many professional surfers use this high-quality ``FU WAX.'' "FU WAX" is very famous among WCT players. We make our products in a small lab in the town of Guarujja, Brazil. All our products are handmade and of the highest quality. I am the only person who can create the original FU wax in the FUAD MANSUR laboratory in Brazil. If you haven't tried it yet, you can buy it here There are only a few dozen left before they sell out! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/11847/

The TABLET II is a great choice for the crowded ocean, even with longboarders!

Recently, Nishii has been using the `` TABLET II '' model, and that's all he's been using. Nishii prefers to ride a 5'8" size. The weather is nice today so we filmed a video. I was able to take some good shots this way. The fins are AUROLA WARd5 fins in a quad configuration. A feature of the TABLET II is that the glove is positioned in the appropriate position and is the required length. It has an excellent grip to prevent your hands from slipping! Although I don't have any photos, I also rode the highly anticipated Placebo "Rays Orca" model. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/models/placebo/layz-orca They are both the same size, 5'8". In the slow Shonan waves, the Raise Orca is wider and has a flatter surface area in contact with the water, so it takes off faster.

The new Placebo 5 models have become an instant hit since their release! They will be arriving in Japan for the first time around the end of March.

Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered Placebo 2013 every day! We received many inquiries, consultations and reservations today. Today, I was in the studio filming videos and answering questions from everyone. Check out the video shoot. The Rays Orca is wide and takes off extremely quickly! I put more effort into the lighting than ever before. The V3 Rocket is a freesurfing board that can handle everything from small waves to overhead-sized waves. The Babeldo edge of the popular TABELT2 model stands out clearly due to the lighting. The footage was shot by TOKU from Total Video Service. The cute and cool LAYZ ORCA model mark. This was taken with this camera. You can see the Babel Edge where the rails have been scraped off! A photo of the concave. Beautiful V3 art, Double Soft Wing Rocket Tail! FU WAX was also photographed. This is a rare photo of all four seasons lined up. It became extremely popular immediately after its release! The new Placebo 5 models are scheduled to arrive in Japan for the first time around late March. We are also accepting pre-orders before the product arrives! New models released every year are expected to be so popular that they are difficult to obtain at the time of release unless you pre-order.
