All the good surfers in California are LOST/MAYHEM

This Saturday morning, the TEAM Luvsurf film crew headed to LOWERS. This is the side shore from the left. Photographer Masuda is underwater. Because the waves are small elsewhere, the sea is extremely crowded. From kids to adults, all the great surfers in California are LOST/MAYHEM. It's true that fewer and fewer people are riding other shapers' boards every year. This trend is becoming stronger on a global level, The more skilled you are, the more you can tell the quality of a board, so it's only natural that you'll end up with a lot of LOST/MAYHEM shapes. Lunch was served at a restaurant run by a long-time Luvsurf TEAM member who has appeared on the 24'S blog many times. Tatsushi Wakabayashi has a history as a sushi chef at famous restaurants such as NOBU and IKKO. I've been back in San Clemente since March, so I went there. You can try his sushi here, so I'd like to introduce it to you all. Suishi Gallery Miki 129 Avenida Del Mar # A San Clemente, CA 92672 (949) 366-3737 Another round in the afternoon was at the North Side of the San Clemente Pier. This is what California's beaches look like in winter, but you can enjoy beach life all year round. San Clemente Pier from the North Side. San Clemente Pier from the South Side. From the top of San Clemente Pier, the view of T-Street on the South Side looks like this. Due to the time difference, it is March 10th here, but today is March 11th in Japan. We will observe a moment of silence from the cabin attendant to pray for the repose of the souls of the deceased.

Colorful airbrushed boards are trending this year in CALIFORNIA.

Colorful airbrushed boards are trending this year in California. At LOST, it seems that about half of custom orders include a color specification. MAYHEM is away in Australia, so the surfboard factory is out. Masato went to the surfboard warehouse to pick up the F1-STUB he had ordered, as it had finally been completed. These are the newly completed F1-STUB and SUB-DRIVER, all of which will be sent to Luvsurf. The fins are the new POWERBASE fin system, which also allows for FCS installation. I found Chris's board in the warehouse. The model is V2-ROCKET! LOWERS is small but the waves are still as beautiful as ever. A quick photo session with Masato. Nishii's waves are small, so I use Placebo 5'6" FQ2. Kay also joins the sessions after school. Masato is currently preparing for his first JPSA match in March. Photographer Masuda is taking the photos. It was a bit crowded in the evening with about 30 people. The waves are likely to be small tomorrow in California.

"TEAM Luvsurf" will be heading back to CALIFORNIA tonight.

Today is the third day in Mexico. MASATO is a 5'10" WHIPLASH model. This is a point break that is LOCALS ONLY. It looks scary, but there are a lot of freaky locals who are bodyboarders. Both the video and photos were taken in clear, windless conditions. For lunch, we went to the famous Tacos restaurant. There is a Luvsurf authorized store sticker on it. It was just lunchtime so it was crowded. The various TACOS are as follows. On the left is beef tongue, on the right is beef steak, and on the top is the pork. Ice cream for dessert. What kind of shop is this? It was a key copy shop. An upscale town in Mexico. The waves are getting smaller tonight, We plan to return to California and then come back to Mexico to coincide with the next predicted swell.

Today is the second day in Mexico. This is the interior of the room we are staying in. This is the photographer, Masuda-san. A storm passed through last night, so as expected, there were waves! There are waves everywhere today. Even though there are waves, there are not many people surfing in Mexico, so There are many deserted breaks with no surfers anywhere. The wind was right for us, so we went to a beach break called BAJA MALIBU. SHAW and Masato were excited to take two to the beach, I surfed, but the wind started blowing on the side straight away. After that, we had a session at a beach break in the bay of an area called Rosarito. The third round was at San Miguel. The waves look good tomorrow too.

TEAM Love Surf arrives in Mexico on a reporting trip for STJ magazine

We have arrived in Mexico on a reporting trip for STJ magazine. The waves are good on high tide, and there are signs saying LOCALS ONLY everywhere around the point. Enjoy a private surf at a point break that is said to be unpopular with white people. Although the weather wasn't great, we were able to take some photos and videos. When the water level drops, mushroom-shaped leaves like this are exposed. Masato is currently adding stickers to his newly completed WHIPLASH board. He painted this board himself a while ago. He didn't have any masking tape, but he's going to post a blog post about the interesting way he applied the pattern, so please take a look. As expected, since we were in Mexico, we had authentic tacos, shrimp, fish, beef tongue, and pork. I gave Luvsurf stickers to the very friendly staff at a well-known store in the area. Today Nishii will be using a 5'11" Lancer Evolution for both the morning and evening rounds. With the Lancer Evolution, you can take off faster than professional junior drivers aged 13 to 20. I would like to show you some photos of the waves, but please wait until the STJ magazine is released.

STJ magazine's "TEAM Luvsurf" reporting trip is about to begin!

Nishii arrived in California a few days ago. Today, Luvsurf professional team rider Masato Yukawa, 20 years old, and photographer Masuda-san arrived. This time, it's a two-week reporting trip for TEAM Luvsurf for Surf Trip Journal magazine. After arriving, we went straight to LOWERS for a quick surf. The evening waves at LOWERS are small but have a good shape! MINI LOCAL Team Luvsurf KEI KOBAYASHI Masato picked up his 5'10" WHIPLASH and immediately put some stickers on it in preparation for the surfing that was to start tomorrow. And starting tomorrow, our team members SHAW and KEI will also be joining us. "apology" The other day, we reported that the board Taji Burrow was riding when he won his first ASP tournament was an F1-STUB, but it was actually a WHPLASH. A LOST surfboards representative in Florida mentioned it on Facebook, so we passed that information on to everyone without question. However, other information said it was a WHIPLASH, so we checked with MAYHEM and it was indeed a WHIPLASH model. We apologize for hastily informing everyone of the incorrect information.
