This is the LOST booth at SURF EXPO Florida.
This is the LOST booth at SURF EXPO Florida. Recently, I was exhibiting at a trade show called SURF EXPO in Florida. A report on the LOST surfboard, clothing, and surfskate booths. This design is also available as a t-shirt. "I went to the Surf Expo and got addicted to resin." On the wall, there are pictures of people working at the Lost Surfboard Factory. Photographed by a famous photographer It's decorated with cool photos. Here are Mayhem and Corey Lopez wearing T-shirts for the Drade Show. Mayhem herself was wearing a resin apron for the event, and Shea Lopez was also there. The reason why I wrote this report is because this resin was attached. Shoes and aprons, and cool photos of the people who work at the Lost Surfboard Factory. It will also be on display at the LOST Surfboard & Surfskate booth at the Interstyle Exhibition, which will be held in Yokohama from February 14th to 16th. The latest models that you have never seen before will also be on display for the first time on this day. The event is open to the general public, so if you have time, please come visit our booth.
Learn moreIt seems that the waves were good in Hainan Island, where Ward and Cory went.
Ward and Corley went to China, It seems that the waves were good on Hainan Island. These two were the original LOST team riders. With Corey Lopez It's Chris Ward. This time, as a friendly member of the US Surf Team, A Chinese resort island known as China's Hawaii. I was competing in an ASP event held on Hainan Island. Ward commented that the waves were thicker than LOWER, but could be ridden for more than twice as long. The world championships were held and it seems to have attracted a lot of attention from the media, so I think surfing will become popular in China from now on. Another LOST rider who appeared was Peruvian Cristobal del Col. And remember this guy, who is said to be the next big thing after Kolohe in San Clemente. Taylor Clark is a blonde goofy footer and a MAYHEM team rider.
Learn more"SHAW KOBAYASHI" placed 4th in ASP PRO Jr 4Star!
We did it! Luvsurf PRO TEAM "SHAW KOBAYASHI" Tadashi Kobayashi It was held at Sunset Beach on Oahu, Hawaii. Advance to the finals of the ASP PRO Jr 4-Star event! A stunning 4th place finish! The day before my flight from San Clemente to Hawaii, the waves were big at Sunset. He shaved his head before the match because he didn't want his bangs to get in his eyes. Shou is a surfer who can make solid turns that really shine when the waves are bigger. Apparently, he had the size when he won the US High School Championship title. Here's a video of Shaw surfing at his home beach in San Clemente. Shaw's Facebook page is here. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1618295201 BLOG HERE http://www.necktans.com/
Learn moreThis is a report from Lost Surfboard's US headquarters.
Surfing on the FISHQUEST 2 master board. A report from Lost Surfboards HQ. The board rack at the LOST headquarters is getting more and more boards day by day. By the time the full-fledged season begins, this board rack will store more than twice as many boards as it does now and be shipped all over the world. This is a newly made custom order board from Japan called "Kite". It's a black FUTURE box. These two boards were used by Kolohe and will be sent to Luvsurf soon. The SHOP mark can also be added to custom orders from authorized Japanese retailers. These are the laminated marks of WATERS in Shizuoka and COLORS in Kanagawa. This is what Nishii's desk at LOST looks like. We are currently sorting through the many custom order forms we have received so far in 2012. This is Nishii at the LuvsurfUSA office, which was established inside Lost's headquarters.
Learn moreNew FISHQUEST Japan Limited Placebo Mark POLY Test Model
Today's LOWERS is a size smaller than yesterday's. The set was about waist-sized, so I took the Japan-exclusive FQ POLYESTER test model 5'6" with the PLACEBO mark and went surfing. After that, I went to the LOST surfboard factory. A catalog shoot was taking place for LOST's newly released women's brand, BLACKSHEEP. There were lots of photographers and models inside and outside the LOST surfboard factory, creating a glamorous atmosphere that was different from the usual masculine factories. This is the Arctic FOAM mark, which LOST, which is now becoming known in Japan, has started to use mainly. Arctic has yellow and green, Yellow is Clark Foam's Ultra Light (lightweight) Green is a super light (regular weight) blank. Terry, who is in charge of airbrushing, said that orders for color boards were coming in earlier and in larger numbers than usual. Apparently people come to LOST from all over the world. Matt "MAYHEM" Biolos was also busy shaping today.
Learn moreThere's an Anchor WETsuit sticker on it.
For some reason, there was an octopus and a shark in a window display with a picture of waves. When I went to Mayhem's surf shop "Catalyst," which has a fun atmosphere, GORKIN's new signature deck PAD has arrived. It will also be available at Love Surf in March, so stay tuned! A LOST deck pad is also scheduled to be released by Astrodeck in 2012. Here are two boards that Gokin recently self-painted. There are also stickers from Gokin's new sponsors, REEF and Anchor WET Suits.
Learn moreIntroducing a glass shop exclusively for LOST surfboards.
Today we'd like to introduce you to a glass shop that specializes in LOST surfboards. Located behind Mayhem Surf Shop in San Clemente, This is a laminate factory exclusively for LOST surfboards. We specialize in POLYESTER materials. Once the board is shaped, it is brought here and wrapped in resin and cloth. The carbon and fins are installed, and the sanding process is completed. Resin usage is measured in drums. The marks are stored like this so that you can easily cut out the ones you need. The long white box contains rolled glass cloth. The white cup is used to mix the resin, hardener and additives. I have installed FCS fin plugs. Whenever I come here, I see the marks of not only the shapers but also the glass craftsmen and sanding craftsmen. I think it's a good job to get into.
Learn moreI received a used 5'11" KOLOHE SUB-DRIVER.
We have begun preparations to set up a desk space for Nishii at Lost Surfboard headquarters. Today, in preparation for this, we are cleaning up the room on the second floor where the desks separated by partitions will be located. With help from SHAW, Andy from Lost, and Rick, the cleaning was completed in one day. This is the wall of the board art room on the first floor. This is a board rack exclusively for teams and professional riders. Shane and a Gokin board. Share, Corey, and a bunch of Damien Hobgood (DEMO) Jordy Smith always has a steady stream of orders.
