I investigated the slow-to-finish board ``XTR.''
It had been raining since morning, but the weather cleared up in the afternoon. The waves were like this, but there weren't many people and it was pretty empty. Today we're going to talk about Epoxy Pro, a company in Oceanside. We went undercover at the XTR factory to investigate some of the slow-finishing boards. We have received custom orders and reservations from customers who have been delayed in completing their orders. Check the finish of the board, I instructed Babiar at XTR to prioritize finishing the slower boards. This is the XTR 3D CARBOLIC before the XTR glass lamination process. These boards were brought in from LOST after their shaping was completed. The standard setting, FCS FUSION plug hole, was also opened with a special tool like this, The FUSION plug is installed inside the XTR glass, making it strong. "XTR 3D CARBOLIC" Kevlar carbon is built into the rails A close-up photo of the process. As you can see, compared to regular POLY boards, the production process is more complicated and involves more steps. It takes time and money. However, the more effort you put into it, the better its durability and performance will be. These are the newly completed "XTR 3D CARBOLIC" boards that will soon be sent to Japan. These will be sent by air from CA to Japan next weekend.

This goes on and on, but that's our job. Regarding Kolohe's recent sponsorship of TARGET, According to his father Dino, who also serves as his manager, It seems that no decision has been made yet, and Nike, REDBULL, and current main sponsor Billabong have also said that they absolutely do not want to let go, so they are currently proceeding with discussions with each company very carefully. Learn moreWhat if you sneak into Mayhem's shaping room while he's out on a business trip?
It rained heavily in California this morning and throughout the day. Because of the time difference, it's still Monday here. I went to the LOST surfboard shaping factory. This is a newly added facility in Mayhem's office. This is a rack with laminated marks. This is the now familiar "Scorcher" mark. The red circle symbolizes the sponsorship of this enormous company. There were rumors flying that he had been offered the job, and he's on Kolohe's board. The mark was already printed. This means that perhaps after many years of negotiation, Kolohe may have ended up being sponsored by TARGET. We will let you know as soon as we find out the truth. If you sneak into Mayhem's shaping room while he's away on a business trip, Kolohe's Scorcher was leaning against the wall. This board is Kolohe's latest magic board, He said he wanted the same board, so he brought it in before it broke, asking for a "second shape." Past members of the San Clemente High School surf team include Ward, Corey, Shane, and even Dino in the past, and current members include Kolohe and Luke, making it a prestigious surf team in the United States. Always crushing the lip without fear of wipeout, He timed his attack with the waves and then launched his air attack. In these riding sessions, you just need to maintain your speed no matter what section you're riding in. It effectively brings out the performance characteristics of the loose scorcher at the top. This is repeated many times in the movie. After bending your body at the bottom and holding the momentum to the limit, Try lipping using a bottom turn going to the top as an example. Shokobayashi's lip-making machine-like surfing If you could use this as a model, Expect bigger sprays and higher scores in contests too.
Learn more"Shane Beschen" SPEEDQUEST riding video!
"Shane Beschen" SPEEDQUEST riding video released! This is a collection of videos of tall Shane riding Nishii's personal board, a short 5'2" LOST SPEEDQUEST model, saying, "This is more than enough for Japanese waves!" and mastering it brilliantly. These waves look like good waves when Shane is riding them, but that's not the case at all.It was difficult to judge the changes in the break, and some waves had no shoulders, so they were a bit quirky. However, the SPEEDQUEST model was designed by Mayhem for users who want to take tight rips at Japanese beach breaks, so it can handle the wave conditions in Japan, which are far from good, and it allows you to take rips and airs with ease! Shane is gradually getting used to the length of the board and is able to perform a variety of tricks from tight turns, gaining speed. When Shane rides this 5'2" SPEEDQUEST model, it feels very short. You can also see that he is setting up the rails properly and performing Shane-style carving turns. Follow Shane's example and try out the LOST SPEEDQUEST model to perform tight turns, carving turns, lips, and airs in the small wave conditions that everyone struggles with in Japan! If you're looking to challenge yourself with a board with even shorter length limits than ever before, this LOST SPEEDQUEST model is for you! I'm sure there are many people who have bought a thick, short model from a certain brand after seeing it featured in the media, only to end up making a mistake. If you have the skills, you can ride a good California point break, In Japanese waves, it takes off quickly but the rails don't come in, and the waves are very changeable, so it's different from boards with heavy movement that don't even make it to the lip on beach breaks. To be able to perform in accordance with the wave conditions in Japan Designed by Mayhem, The LOST Japan-exclusive model is the "SPEEDQUEST" model! "RIPQUEST" MAYHEM riding movie now available! He designed the shape himself, This is a riding video of Mayhem riding a "RIPQUEST." http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/camp/ripquest.html This polyester foam parabolic stringer, custom-made by US-BLANKS, It is softer and more flexible than a regular center stringer board. It has good response and is well-matched with the sea surface. While preventing the board from twisting when bending, Even if it twists, it will convert that twist into turning speed. It's a magical form . It matches perfectly with the RIPQUEST model, which is thicker than a regular board. The magical "Polyester Parabolic Stringer" rises sharply from the bottom approach, allowing you to easily rip the giant Mayhem. When Mayhem releases the weight it has accumulated at the bottom, it reaches the lip with a whoosh and takes consecutive rips while sending up spray. The RIPQUEST model has thinner rails, making it easier to move than the CONQUEST. You can take off and paddle very quickly, and the lip is easy to do. Be sure to check out the ``RIPQUEST'' model, a board designed specifically for continuous rips!
