Learn moreAmazing! Check out the latest surf photos of the evolved Kei Kobayashi.
Kei is going to compete in the QS competition. Kay had been on a long trip to Australia and Florida, Nishii hasn't seen Kei surfing recently either, It's been a while since I last saw Kei's surfing and it was amazing! It has been about a year since he won the first JPSA tournament in April last year, winning through trials. On this day, I was riding the LOST "POCKET ROCKET" POLYESTER. The left waves were good that day, so I did a lot of backside riding. He also had a high success rate in backside air reverses! By the way, the way the board is raised and the posture are amazing! These six consecutive photos show the front side air reverse. I just kept riding. Kei Kobayashi has already decided to enter the first JPSA tournament in April this year, so we're looking forward to it!

Learn moreMust see! Check out the unreleased photos from the 24'S blog of "LOST Surfboard"!
This is the angle where you can see the most distinctive feature of the LOST Carbon Wrap board. The wrapped carbon band wraps around the board in a beautiful curve. He is also a VANS rider and is a kid, but he is well known for his power surfing. My Instagram is @alclelandjrsurf. This is Nate Iomans, who also works as a salesman for LOST surfboards. This photo was taken in Hawaii this season. He's a working pro surfer who still puts up better results in contests than the younger surfers. Noah Beschen has been growing taller recently. He inherited his father Shane's stylish surfing skills and is good at big waves, so he's said to be a candidate to become the next John John in Hawaii. This is Eli's board, finished with a tie-dye rainbow airbrush. This airbrushed LOST "CARBON WRAP" board is also great! This is part of the work tool shelf of Terry Singh, who is in charge of the airbrush. Airbrushing requires so many masking operations on a single board that it would fill a trash can, making it a very time-consuming and difficult job. These are Corey Lopez's boards. Corey Lopez currently runs a surf shop called Nekutan in his hometown of Florida. His older brother, Shea Lopez, runs a surfing school for kids and also works as a shaper. This is Noah Beschen, who I introduced earlier. I see, so you're already able to ride the big waves! The person who painted Kei Kobayashi's board was Jeff, an underground surfer from San Clemente. He previously competed in the WSL local Hurley Pro and beat Julian Wilson. Kei is heading to Australia this week to compete in the World Junior Contest, where the best athletes from around the world will be gathered! Everyone, please support him!
Learn moreFreshly filmed! "Kei Kobayashi" session at his home point, LOWERS!
Check out the photos from the session just taken at Kei Kobayashi's home point, LOWERS. I caught a virus during the JPSA contest in Shonan, Japan last month. The illness developed while he was surfing in Bali and was diagnosed at a hospital there. Apparently there were days when he couldn't surf for about three days. Then back to California, I wasn't feeling well and couldn't surf for 10 days. Now that I've recovered, I went for a photo session at my home point, LOWERS. There were a lot of good waves on the backside that day. He decided to take such aggressive action. Kei Kobayashi is currently considering entering the Chiba Kita/Shidashita tournament for the final JPSA tournament in Japan. He has an important PRO-JR tournament in Barbados coming up soon, so he will wait until the very last moment to decide. Kei Kobayashi himself has not yet recovered 100%. He said his surfing wasn't going well. Looking at these photos, that's enough surfing! The board he's riding is, of course, the "V2-GRINDER" !

Luvsurf TV:LOST 『V2-GRINDER』 Kei Kobayashi Ibaraki JPSA Rider: Kei Kobayashi Board used: LOST " V2-GRINDER" POLYESTER FILM: Koji Nishii EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM This photo was taken during practice when Kei Kobayashi was competing in the JPSA Ibaraki in September. The waves at the bottom, where boulders, reefs and sand are mixed, are mushy, irregular and quite peculiar. "Kay" surfs these kinds of waves on T-Street in San Clemente, so he's an expert at adjusting to the waves. The clear spray coming out of the three fins evokes speed! The V2-GRINDER runs well even in thick waves, making it a model that can handle Japanese waves well. Take a close look at the quality of each of Kei's surfing actions, which place him at the top level in the World Junior class. The scene that appears at the beginning of the movie is a video of Kei riding that was recently shown on a giant monitor at Shibuya Scramble Crossing in Tokyo! Learn moreKei Kobayashi takes a surprising second place in the final heat!
Kei Kobayashi unfortunately did not win yesterday's JPSA. After each heat, we check your riding on video. Before my heat, I listen to music with headphones to concentrate. It's the winner's interview. This is the bottom center stringer with FUSE carbon attached. The V2-GRINDER was used in all heats. Kei Kobayashi, who is in top form, came in second place in yesterday's JPSA contest. Nishii has received many complaints that the scoring system for the final heat of yesterday's JPSA contest was wrong. Of course, he has also received many LINE messages, messages, and phone calls from people who were there and watching the event live. The following four photos were taken with five seconds left. In "Under Pressure Situation" It starts with one last ride. As you can see, he made four power turns on one wave, putting the rail in and spraying the water. It's a shame he only got a score of 4.67. I was surprised to see how different the JPSA's judges' scoring system is from the WSL. I think Kei himself was the most surprised, but Nishii was also stunned. He was given a lower score than he expected, and when he heard the results he was depressed and said he would not be competing in JPSA again, but we have decided that he should try to win the next contest in Shonan, so please look forward to the JPSA Shonan Contest being held this week!

You can see that FU WAX has been applied all the way to the nose. Luvsurf TV:LOST "V2-GRINDER" Kei Kobayashi LOWERS AUG 2016 "PART 2" Rider: Kei Kobayashi Board used: LOST 『V2-GRINDER』 POLYESTER FILM: Koji Nishii EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM When you do an air like this, even if your front foot leaves the deck and ends up near the nose, because the paint is applied up to this point, no matter where you take your stance on the deck, you will be able to return to the correct position and continue riding without wiping out! A recent specialty of Kei Kobayashi. As long as there is a wave section, you can create a spectacular ride. There is a sense of contrast, or rather, there are strengths and weaknesses in the flowing maneuvers. This is Kei Kobayashi's unique style. The kids are watching from the shoulders at the best angle, so I imagine they'll be using Kei's moves as a model for their own riding practice. This layback is also achieved by standing up with the flexibility of a young body and the strength and balance developed through training. The bigger the waves, the more Kei Kobayashi's skills are on full display. So, let's ride the V2-GRINDER at our home break LOWERS. Check out Kei Kobayashi's riding video.
