Irregular series "DAY7" Mentawai board trip!

『DAY7』 Mentawai board trip! Unfortunately, the morning HT (Lance's Right) was onshore, so we headed to Lance's Left, where the easterly wind was offshore. To our surprise, we found a big wave over 8 feet, the biggest of the trip. Everyone decided to tackle this big wave on the mini boards featured in this photoshoot. Tetsuta surfed a 5'2" twin fin, Jun a 5'5" quad, Kenta a 5'0" quad that he shaped himself, Katsuhiro a 5'9" quad, and Nishii a 5'4" AIRQUEST 5FIN. The set was huge, with waves that could easily be described as 8-10 feet. Just as Jun Pro came in, an unexpected huge set came in where we were waiting for a wave, and we tried to dolphin, but the impact got so bad that my board broke. I was on the inside at the time, so I got hit by the huge soup from the set, and it was a long, painful reel for the first time in a while. Then everyone tried a few waves on mini boards for the photo shoot, but as expected, the boards were too short, so we changed boards and maneuvered around the huge barrel with the huge face. The mini board project shot at this time must have been a novel photo that you wouldn't see in any other surf magazine. After that, we aimed for Bintan, which is on the inside of Lance's left, but the swell direction was bad so the quality of the breaking waves was not good. Pro Kenta tried surfing it, but he said it wasn't very good so he got up immediately. After that, the board moved again and aimed for HT (Lance's Right) in the evening. Since I had some time, I decided to go ashore on HT (Lance's Right) Island. The island was inhabited by people and had a very small village. Back on the boards, no one was surfing HT (Lance's Right) yet, when the luxurious boat used by Billabong appeared and Kokoho and the other juniors started surfing. I heard rumors that Kolohe Andino and Mason Ho were in the team, but I didn't see them. Double-up sets were starting to come in at this Hot Spring, and as the tide came in, the waves got bigger and bigger. I was able to see the biggest Hot Spring waves I've ever seen. On the last wave, professional surfer Katsuhiro was crushed by a barrel and his board broke when he came up. In the beautiful evening light, the young guys attacked the barrels and took some beautiful photos. I'm looking forward to it being published. ------------------------------------------------------------------ If you would like to see our previous article on Mentawai Boat Trips, Click here for "DAY 1" http://luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=1066 Click here for "DAY 2" http://luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=1070 Click here for "DAY 3" http://luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=1074 Click here for "DAY 4" http://luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=1077 Click here for "DAY 5" http://luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=1081 Click here for "DAY 6" http://luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=1148 ------------------------------------------------------------------ I had previously asked for donations, If you're a surfer and want to go on a Mentawai board trip, He is an experienced surfer who knows the waves and points of Mentawai very well. I received an email from Aki, who said she felt safe with Japanese guides and staff. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Hello everyone. They appealed for donations for the Sumatra earthquake that occurred on September 30th, and sent a large amount of money. Before starting the fundraising campaign, we discussed it with the relevant parties and set a target of 2 million yen, but we far exceeded that amount, raising nearly 3.5 million yen in just one and a half months. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the various surf media professionals and surfers from all over the world who helped with the fundraising. On October 25th, the Indonesian National Disaster Management Agency announced that the death toll from the Sumatra earthquake was 1,195, and that more than 130,000 buildings had collapsed. It's been about a month and a half since the disaster. Demolition of collapsed buildings is still ongoing in Padang. It will likely take some time for the Sumatransurfarii crew and their families (35 households) affected by the earthquake to recover, but they are working tirelessly toward recovery. Donations are being used fairly by those from Pariaman Regency, the hardest hit area, to purchase temporary household items and medical expenses. Furthermore, we are discussing donating any funds over our target of 2 million yen to local Indonesian NGOs and organizations in desperate need, while keeping them for emergencies. We believe this will be a great encouragement to those affected. Thank you very much. We will continue to work harder than ever to ensure that you have a great time when you visit Mentawai, so we appreciate your continued support. The weather is getting colder from now on. I hope you all stay healthy and prosperous. This is a token of our appreciation for your donations in response to the Sumatra earthquake. Thank you everyone for purchasing a new board!

A-san is wearing LOST's "WHIPLASH." This model is thin and slim, This is a necessary model for competitors, so Mayhem distributes it to teams every year. It's a continuing model. Mr. A goes on a surf trip to California every year and sees Lost boards at local surf shops, but he's not sure which one is made by Luvsurf. They understand the difference in quality between officially imported boards and ours, and are always happy to place custom orders for us. Even if the lost boards from Tuned for JAPAN are the same model, they are tuned to Japanese specifications, and the differences in materials and finish are clear. Mr. B custom ordered the LOST "AIRQUEST 5'11". He surfs a lot at Katakai Beach in the northern Chiba area, so he custom-ordered the AIRQUEST 5'11" as he thought it would be a good fit for the wave conditions at Katakai Beach, where he tends to use thicker boards. The size is longer than usual, and the tail shape is rounded, making it easy to ride. It's a custom board. Mr. C chose the Presebo TABLET 6'0". Improve your paddling, take-off and riding stability from the board you are currently riding. He wanted a dramatic change, so we consulted with him and he purchased the PLACEBO 6'0" TABLET. The PLACEBO TABLET was perfect for his needs! This time, Mr. D purchased the Precebo TABLET 5'10". This is my third purchase of the Quest series. We'll move on to FISHQUEST and then to the placebo TABLET! The Quest series is truly suited to the Japanese wave, and every model is so popular that production is still running out. If you haven't tried the Quest series yet, we recommend you give it a try. Give it a try, we're sure you'll love it! Mr. E purchased a custom-ordered Lost "RNF". Currently, the same model as the lost "RNF" XTR DD PB specification The board is in great condition, and this Lost "RNF" is made of the same material but with different materials. It was custom ordered using XTR 3D CARBOLIC material. The rails are woven with red Kevlar, which is only compatible with custom boards. Lost's mark color and black carbon and red Kevlar The color matching is superb, resulting in a perfectly customizable finish! Thank you everyone for purchasing a new board!
