Matt "Mayhem" Biolos shows off two rare boards!
Today we'll be introducing two rare boards that Mayhem showed us! This is the bottom of the board that Cory was riding. When you look at the deck surface, you can see that the glass has been peeled off and the foam has been hollowed out. It has been cut out and colored to give it a three-dimensional look. A friend of mine who is a surf artist apparently makes this kind of art for a living. I've been surfing for the past few days, He said he was fine in the slow, small waves of the point break. This board says, The blanks (forms) are recycled and reused. Using GREEN form, Mayhem doesn't use machines or scales, The board was made by sawing, planing and filing the outline in my head. The size is not listed, and the person himself has to scale it. This is a mysterious board that Mayhem, the number one shaper in the United States, said he doesn't understand.
Learn more"Mayhem" is all about getting shaped in the shaping room!
The waves in California today are smaller. This is T-STREET. There have been plenty of waves over the past few weeks. When the waves are this low, people in California don't surf. The points are empty. I invited Mayhem to come surf, I have a lot of shapes that I need to finish before Christmas, It was busy and the waves were small so we decided to shape them. There are a lot of waist-high waves, so I surf lightly on "SPEEDQUEST" before When you go to the LOST factory, There was a particularly long board, so I looked at it. It was a 7'6" Mason gun that had been shaped and was waiting for glass. In the airbrush area, boards are finished like this, Boards wrapped in masking tape during work, Terry was airbrushing a board for an exhibition to be held in January next year, Mayhem's younger brother seemed busy. The blanks (forms) were cut using a machine called DSD. In the shaping room, there are various materials, A custom order board from Japan is waiting to be shaped. Of course, Mayhem has been shaping these boards in the shaping room! Good luck Mayhem!
Learn moreNishii's "SCORCHER" model riding movie released!
Nishii's "SCORCHER" model riding video has been released! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/movie/241_scorcher.html LOST's SCORCHER model POLY board, Limited edition with the PLACEBO mark, SCORCHER model made of FIBERFLEX material It's a riding movie. Lost's ultimate beach break standard tri-fin board. This is a collection of riding videos of Kolohe Andino's signature model, the SCORCHER. This tri-fin model is already popular in the competition scene. Compared to riding other wide fishboards, you can see how quickly the board turns over at the top. The trick that everyone wants to do or master the most in shortboard surfing is the lip. When I took off from this lip and made one turn to the top, How much spray you can throw and how quickly you can return the board is crucial. This leads to high points in the contest. In the competition scene, the thruster fin design with a tributary squash tail also has an end fin that acts as the lip, making it easier for the board to rise vertically and turn over quickly. The rear part of the end fin on the bottom of the SCORCHER has a VEE bottom shape, so even though the SCORCHER has a slightly wider tail, it can be easily controlled like a board with a narrow squash tail, making it easier to lip and carve. This is positioned as an all-around model for beach breaks. The SCORCHER is a great fit for the waves in Japan, so I like the SCORCHER! This is a LOST model that anyone interested in mountain biking should definitely try! Be sure to try out Mayhem's "SCORCHER"! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/camp/scorcher.html The special "SCORCHER" page can be found here!
Learn moreNishii's top recommendation: Scorcher's "XTR 3D CARBOLIC"!
There are rumors that the biggest wave in 40 years may come. It's California, and looking towards the mountains from the beach, The snow that fell from the low pressure system yesterday has piled up on the mountains. The LOWER trestle was closed out due to bad swell direction. It's not a real break, With this swell, Upper Trestle is the perfect break. The terrain is good, so the waves are hollower than usual. Given the conditions, I chose the Scorcher. This is Nishii's third personal Scorcher, and it is the "XTR 3D CARBOLIC" specification. I like it because it's easier to gain speed compared to ``POLY'' and ``FIBERFLEX.'' The unique speed flex performance of XTR foam is featured in this Mayhem Scorcher model. I think it matches well. Love Surf has received the Scorcher 5'11" in XTR 3D CARBOLIC specs today, so if that size fits you, be sure to try out this speed flex performance with the Mayhem's amazing shape design. The Scorcher model "XTR 3D CARBOLIC" specification is Nishii's top recommendation!
Learn moreWhat is one of Nishii's magic board collection?
This is Nishii's beloved Toyota Sienna for the US. You can also load boards, This is an excellent vehicle that can also store the AUROLA mountain bike. Today's waves at LOWER Trestle were small like this. Even though I say small, it's only about waist to chest size. The onshore wind was blowing and the waves were rough, Even small waves can make for a fun surf session. I chose the "SPEEDQUEST" POLY, one of Nishii's magic board collections. This board is a ready-made 5'2" board that I took out of my stock board and rode, but it's in such good condition that I brought it all the way from Japan. This will be my second time in California. In this condition, Choose the "AUROLA 4.5" and go up and down tightly. It was a perfect match. On my way home, I stopped by T-STREET to check it out, and there it was! This parent and child driving a big Toyota truck, The one falling from the lip of "Dino Andino" (in the foreground) is This is my son, Kolohe Andino! It's only natural to see it in San Clemente, as it's a local spot. The amazing thing about San Clemente is that this kind of thing is commonplace.

Ward, Shane and others from TEAM ...LOST in HAWAII Photo! This is the son of Japanese professional surfer Nick Nozaki. "Cheeseburger" from the Lost Team. He's a young player who also attacks Pipeline. This is Chris Davidson from the AUS LOST team. This carving at the top is a speciality. This is "Noah Besschen" who has honed his skills in Belgian Land and Rocky Point. He is a future WCT player for 2020 and the son of Schoen Beschen. This is his father's "Schoenbeschen." I ended up surfing the sunset on a 5'11" quad. This is Chris Ward's power hook! Power hook number 2! This is a special move by Chris Ward! Normally you would use one arm to stall, but he uses two, brakes suddenly, stalls and dives deep into the barrel. This is a fairly advanced technique. Ward said, "I learned by watching Tom Cullen do it." This backwash wave is amazing!
