Mayhem & Dajibaro

We spotted Taj Burrow riding a Mayhem board on the cover of WAVES, an Australian surfing magazine, so we'd like to introduce it to you. Taji is known for his quick movements and spinning airs, and he was in good form on the Mayhem Board, landing a cover shot. There is also a photo of Daji holding this board in this book. Today, Mr. N, a heavy Love Surf user, came to pick up his 5'11" SD3 board. This board was custom ordered for him, and he waited five months for it to be completed. The shape of the board is fantastic, and he said he's looking forward to riding it this weekend. He also purchased a second board, a 4FIN SHARK 5'8" stockboard. With these two, he'll be able to handle any type of wave at the beach break, from small waves to overhead waves.

Display your mural board.

In 2001, an artist named Drew created a mural board for Love Surf, which when lined up together form a single picture. This mural was displayed at the show. It depicts a very happy world of surfers, so please come and see it! We will be displaying it for a while, so please come and see it when you come to the store. Today we have Mr. K, who has purchased an SD4 board in order to take his riding to the next level after three years of riding a board. I had a Lost sexy girl sticker on my previous board, and I immediately put one on my SD4 as well. Without it, it just didn't feel like my board. Thank you, Mr. K!

A foam made from corn.

I received some interesting news from Mayhem. The foam that Mayhem has is apparently made from corn. It's called BIO Foam, and although it's hard to tell from the photo, it's a light yellow color, resembling corn. The manufacturer is still in the prototype stage, but the yellow color is like a sun-bleached Mayhem surfboard, so they advised him to go for a light green color. Certainly, green is better than a yellowish color. It may be that environmentally friendly foams will be commercialized in the future.

GORKIN is coming to Japan for the first time in a long while!

I was contacted by Presebo team rider Aaron Cormican, also known as Gokin. He will be coming to Japan to compete in the WQS 6star (Irago), which will be held in Japan from the end of July! You can now see Florida's air king's circus surfing in Japan! I'm looking forward to it! I will be accompanying him during the contest, so if you can make it to the venue, please come and see him. Gorkin's live riding is even more amazing than the DVD! ↓You can see this live! ■■■ http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/movie/placebo_movie.html "GOKIN" Aaron Cormican: Board used: 5'8" Anarchy quad Today, we would like to introduce three people who purchased surfboards. Mr. A heard about the performance of the RNF-Q and wanted to try it out, so he bought it. Now I can carry it around with peace of mind by attaching the Aurora protector. Mr. B purchased the 6'1" SD4, which had just arrived in stock. He wanted a slightly larger size for easier takeoff and lighter riding in a quad, so we recommended this size board to him. Of course, he also used Aurora protectors! Mr. C was hit by a car on the highway and his board broke, so he quickly ordered a custom SD4. Thank you everyone!

At Omaezaki P, WATERS's Lost & Precebo order test drive event

Today, we held a test ride event for WATERS' Lost & Presebo pre-orders at Omaezaki P in Shizuoka Prefecture. It was cloudy in the morning, but the afternoon was sunny and everyone test rode until they were exhausted. The waves were knee-high and set all day, and were well-formed offshore, making for good conditions that allowed us to really feel the difference in the performance of the boards. Here's what the test ride looked like and what the waves looked like. Since the waves were small, AVISO/RNF, Surfskate, 4FIN SHARK, and RNF-Q were popular. Thank you to everyone who came out to test ride, order a board, or custom order! Here are some snaps from people who took a test drive today. These are two third-year junior high school students who made their surfing debut today. They got along well and had their first experience waxing together. This photo shows the newly renovated WATERS store in Shizuoka City. The name WATAERS comes from The owner, Mr. Yamamoto, The shop name comes from the idea that "being in water feels good."
