Hello, I'm Kohei, a staff member. This is a test drive report of "THE RIPPER," which is one of the new models released in 2024 that I personally wanted to drive the most. I'm sure there are many people who are interested in this, so please use this as a reference when purchasing! I am 168cm and 65kg and the dimensions of the ``THE RIPPER'' I used were 5'9 x 19.50 x 2.40 29.50cl, and the fin setting was FCSⅡ ``MB PC CARBON'' L size in a quad setting! Personally, I think it would have been better to go down one size. By the way, the SUB DRIVER 2.0 is 27cl, the MICKS TAPE is 30.5cl, and the RNF'96 that I use as a mini-mid is 34cl. The first point where "THE RIPPER" was ridden was a certain point in southern Chiba, which has recently become popular due to its well-defined terrain. On the day, well-shaped waves were breaking at chest to shoulder height, but people gathered at the peak and it was a bit crowded. The first thing I noticed when I paddled out was that even though it was a short board with a pointed nose, which I haven't ridden much recently, I was able to paddle smoothly and stably without any discomfort.
