The surfboards that were finished at the glass factory today!
It rained again all day in San Clemente today. So today Nishii was concentrating on his desk work at LOST Surfboard. This is the area where Andy's kind photo board is displayed. It's Friday in California because of the time difference. This week we have received a large shipment of boards from the glass factory. This is Julian's own board, the F1-STUB model, which is his favorite. There is also another board by Julian himself, the "F1-STUB" model, in a different color. These two are Taji's personal boards. In 2013, LOST released a collaboration model with TAJI. These are two of Nishii's "DRIVER" films. I ordered the orange one from "F1-STUB", For some reason, MAYEHM was erased from the top and rewritten as "DRIVER" . The DRIVER has more buoyancy than the F1-STUB, so the paddle moves forward. This is a high-performance model that is highly recommended for seasons when you will be wearing heavy gear such as full suits. /models/lost/driver Please see the special DRIVER page here.

It's a wedding movie. It excels at sharp lip action, and the front side lip in particular has a great movement. The photo was taken from above the Huntington Beach pier, so please take a look at how to time the bottom turn. You can clearly see the sharp lip performance of the "F1-STUB" model and how it floats and moves forward in flat waves that connect all the way to the inside. Ian Crane's air and lip technique This is a great example of riding for those with a goofy stance. Please learn by watching it with your eyes and trying it with your body over and over again. Luvsurf TV:LOST "SUB-DRIVER" by Shaw Kobayashi Rider: Shaw Kobayashi Board used: LOST MAYHEM "SUB-DRIVER" FILM: Masaki Kobayashi EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM The video features footage of Shaw riding at three locations, including a side-onshore beach break and soft waves. The waves aren't great, but he manages to land a few air reverses. Even in waves with little power and no speed, pay attention to how he can time his surf with the waves and kick up the tail to successfully perform an air lift. When the tail lands on the wrong side, you can see that by staying directly above and in the center of the board like a SHAW, you can turn without losing balance. Power turns under the lip, This is a collection of riding exercises that will give you an example of how to do a layback turn. The SUB-DRIVER model has a high-performance design that is wide and voluminous, and SHAW has proven that it is a model that is particularly good at restoring speed even when you lose it after performing a trick with all your might. Luvsurf TV:LOST 『F1-STUB』 Masato Yukawa Rider: Masato Yukawa Board used: LOST MAYHEM "F1-STUB" http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/camp/F1stub.html FILM: Masaki Kobayashi & Koji Nishii EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM This video shows Masato Yukawa riding in Mexico. Unlike other riding videos, it contains a lot of footage of him riding backside waves, so it's a collection of clips that those who aren't good at backside surfing should take a good look and study. The F1-STUB's distinctive feature is its flow (floating nature). By taking advantage of this flow, even in slow-moving waves, if you use the bottom to get deep, you can kick the board into the top and make continuous spray-producing turns. The F1-STUB can be surfed without slowing down even on flat wave sections. In this riding video, the waves that Masato PRO is riding are not powerful and not good waves. Try imitating the movements of surfing pro surfer Yukawa, who twists his body, swings the board with hand movements, and skillfully connects them with turns. [vimeo]http://vimeo.com/49423534[/vimeo]
