While TAJI was taking a break from the second half of his world tour to care for his first child, I requested Mayhem to make a board that was fatter than usual and more fun to play with, and they made it. The LOST "CHOPPER" model was created when we approached Mayhem about wanting a noseless board that even older guys could ride, and I think everyone was captivated by the cool look of the resulting ROCKET tail and nose shape design. The reason I wanted to try riding the cool LOST "CHOPPER" was because This is Love Surf's professional rider, Masato Yukawa. We have just received some cool photos taken by photographer Dave Yamaya of him riding the CHOPPER, so please take a look. You can see the ROCKET tail! The ROCKET nose is cool and stands out! The board size that Masato is riding is a standard size 5'5" 27CL Apparently it was in pretty good condition, so he decided to make it his own model! This is the data from Nishii's session the other day. Usually, one round takes about two hours and after riding 20-25 sticks I'm exhausted, but with BEAN BAG it's like this! He is a Brazilian surfer and a rookie who just joined the World Tour in 2015, and is known for his impressive, deep lines on the tracks. Please take a look at how well he timings the return of the backside board. Make a deep turn at the bottom and get into this position on the vertical lip of the wave. Apply full weight and use all your strength to return the board. From this bent knee position, return the board without succumbing to the force of the lip. A must-see for those who are not good at it! This riding video is a model for female surfers and has been well-received by Love Surf customers, who say that they can watch and imitate the surfing that men do, which is far beyond their level. Learn how to do a top turn from newly reigning three-time World Champion Carissa Moore. You can clearly see the tail stepping on the car many times. Notice how the hind legs are stepping on the tail and the front legs are stretched out. This action pushes the tail into the wave, pivoting the board and causing it to turn.
