Rider: Koji Nishii Board used: Placebo 5'11" RNF-EVOLUTION FLEXLITE-TURBO FILM:Masaki Kobayashi EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM This video shows Nishii surfing at a secret spot in Mexico on a Precevo 5'11" RNF-EVOLUTION model. The wave quality here is similar to Shichirigahama in Japan, with a soft reef and sand bottom. This model has a takeoff speed as fast as a tablet, and if you time it well with the waves, you can take off with just 2-3 strokes. The Lancer Evolution starts sliding while the swell is still there, giving you plenty of time to assess the wave's break and read the waves before making your first turn. Even if the board seems to stop on a flat section, it will immediately start moving forward. Anyway, it has excellent speed recovery performance that doesn't stall, Thanks to the calculated flex and rebound of the FLEXLITE-TURBO, you can see the great extension of turns in weak waves. This board, commonly known as the "Lancer Evolution," is an adult round-nose cruising board that can be ridden in an aggressive style like Ward's, but is also suitable for the graceful surfing style of PRO Nishii, who surfs with large lines. Today I went to Nami Beach in northeastern Chiba to hold a LOST surfboard study session. This is a test ride study session for surf sales staff from Murasaki Sports main store and Borders Fact store in Harajuku. Since everyone is a good surfer, the boards are from popular models. ORCA RNF-EVOLUTION V2-ROCKET SUB-DRIVER SUB-DRIVER-JP F1-STUB WHIPLASH-TB We have selected these 7 models for you. Over the course of about four hours, everyone enthusiastically test-rode all the models, regardless of whether the buoyancy was right for them or not. They were able to experience the lightness of movement that is unique to XTR and the extended turn of Speed Flex. Mr. Abe from the main store chose the SUB-DRIVER-JP and V2-ROCKET. Mr. Kubo from the same main store has SUB-DRIVER and F1-STUB. Mr. Tomoda from Borders Facts store liked the V2-ROCKET and F1-STUB. The waves were good today, so the participants were able to get a good understanding of the differences in the performance of the boards. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Brad "Simppo" Simpson has always been a fan of Whiplash models. The new Mayhem-designed "WHIPLASH-TB" model released in 2012 is a better fit than the previous WHIPLASH model. The outline is slightly wider, adding volume to the board and making it more buoyant. This makes it more all-around and a board that can run on beach breaks. Testing the condition of the board while cruising around the crowded area Check out Shinpo's stylish lip action and sharp surfing. Word Stories Episode #8 “PIPELINE” is now available! Ward says he loves surfing Pipe Run. I love it so much that I often drop in to local places. Of course, if the waves are good the morning after a party, you can go surfing! Ward also has an eye for backdoor right breaks. The highlight is word surfing on the big Pipeline waves. For longer boards, position your stance around the stringer. Learn how to move your stance forward, backward, left, right, in the barrel, and when turning. When surfing deep waves, you should adjust your stance to the wave and stand on the rail side of the wave face rather than directly above the stringer, which will allow you to exit the tube without being caught in the barrel. What does the brand name Placebo mean? I've been asked this question a lot recently, so I'll explain it here. Presebo surfboard design It's made by Matt Biolos, also known as MAYHEM, the same person behind Lost Surfboards. The MAYHEM design has been faithfully reproduced down to the smallest detail. Presebo surfboards are made using a different material called FLEXLITE-TURBO. It is made of a strong composite material that won't fade in the sun, and is a surfboard from another brand of LOST design. It means "placebo." It's a name that suits MAYHEM, who loves twisted jokes. This mark with a P inside a circle was the original mark and was used for three years from 2006 to 2008. This capsule mark was adopted in 2009, Since 2010, instead of this Present Man robot mark, The same MAYHEM mark as LOST is now used. In 2012, the black capsule mark was added. It has been seven years since its launch in 2012, and now it is used by many people who know the difference. As a first choice surfboard brand, its durability and ease of riding have made it a very popular brand. Even now, the mark and design continue to evolve every year.
