This is a report on the 30th anniversary Southern California Japanese Surf Contest.

This is a report on the 30th anniversary Southern California Japanese Surf Contest. At Trestles Church in San Clemente, California The Southern California Japanese Surf Contest, with Love Surf as the main sponsor, was held. The waves were extremely small, about 1-3 feet (knee-high to waist-high), in the San Clemente area of California, about three weeks after the WSL tournament ended. The swells started coming in two days ago, and the set was held in double over waves. This historic tournament, now in its 30th year, saw over 150 entries. There are only three surf contests a year at Trestles. This is a rare surf contest where you can hold a surf contest in the best wave quality. There was wind and the conditions were tough for some classes, but we were able to see some great performances. Some people from Japan have adjusted their time off work to take part in this surf contest. It's increasing every year. There will also be a LOST surfboard test ride booth! SHAW KOBAYAHSI Why not try participating next year too?

You can enjoy surfing even more by changing your board to suit the size and quality of the waves!

Mayhem is heading to Europe on Friday night in California, so I'll be holed up in the shaping room with him for the week. We had them create a new Japan-exclusive model proposal. The "Dolphin Grab Rail" is an essential feature for the Japan-only model. Of course I asked to have it installed. This is a photo taken by MAYHEM when he finished shaping the LOST " GOBLIN " PRO-Formance model, which is currently about to arrive at Love Surf. The beautiful and artistic combination of the elevator wing and R2-Channel is well expressed. MAYHEM also posted a photo of just the form on his Instagram. Nishii has been working on this newly completed I was riding the LOST " RNF-REDUX " CARBON WRAP. When my knees and hips continued to get bigger, I bought this LOST "GOBLIN" PRO-Formance model. I've been riding it for two weeks straight, The waves have gotten a little bigger over the past few days, reaching waist height, so I switched to LOST's RNF-REDUX CARBON WRAP. The wave size is forecast to increase rapidly from this weekend, so I'll probably be riding the LOST 5'7" SUB-DRIVER BRO or 5'8" DRIVER BRO PRO-Formance models. You can enjoy surfing even more by changing your board to suit the size and quality of the waves! Get as many boards as possible to make surfing fun and ride the waves to your heart's content!

A report from the shaping room at LOST surfboard factory "MAYHEM"!

Nishii is currently residing in California. Every day, I've been working with MAYHEM in the shaping room to shape several new model ideas. We create test boards many times, but the most important thing is the design, and Mayhem designs them on a PC using the AKU machine's design software, as shown here. However, the design of the foam cut by the AKU machine is never perfect the first time, so we have to revise and change the design of the actual product many times. There is a discrepancy between the form on the PC screen and the form cut by the AKU machine, so I adjusted it many times. Once the cut design is perfect, the shaping stage begins. MAYHEM always says that they don't want even one bad board to be released into the world. This high level of pride as a shaper is what makes MAYHEM's boards so good. An essential part of the "Japan Limited Model" This is how Mayhem shapes the Dolphin Grab Rail. When I saw Nishii shaping the piece, I realized that the shaping process was very delicate. I think it's a very time-consuming and laborious task. This is a shaped bike imported to Japan with the signature of MAYHEM, which is used by everyone. A lot of MAYHEM's own work goes into each LOST surfboard . Nishii will be returning to Japan in mid-October, so please come visit Love Surf to hear the latest information! We look forward to hearing from you if you would like to know the latest information on the latest ``Japan Limited Model'' models!
